Spent a day with my son in Windermere and Bowness in the heart of the English Lake District. He came up from London for some fresh air and exercise so we climbed Brantsfell and then sauntered along the waterfront which was crowded with tourists and a host of different water birds looking fr a free meal. This wonderful old boat just arrived as I walked past - a real beauty!
