Gorgeous light, beautifully photographed!

Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo in my back garden. Any chance I get to take a photo of flowers I take it!

Time

When I seen that it was a sunny day outside around 9am I decided to do some gardening, on my way to the garden I seen this beautiful Lilly standing tall.

Lighting

I wanted this photo to look bright and lovely. The sun was shining down onto its pedals making it a vibrant photo.

Equipment

For this photo I only used my camera Nikon J1. No other equipment was used.

Inspiration

I took this photo because I was just walking to the garden and this little Lilly caught my eye and I decided it was a perfect shot.

Editing

With this photo I added a bit of exposer and vibrance to give it that extra pop of color.

In my camera bag

The first thing I always make sure I have is my Nikon D5600 and I make sure the battery is fully charged. I have a 75-300mm lens, a photo ball, lens cap holders, a tripod and about five extra memory cards. I also have a pare of gloves for those cold nights and a cloth to wipe my lens from dust.

Feedback

My advice is to keep your eye on the day light and always keep your respectful distance from the bees trying to pollinate. Also look for different angles like shooting from above or below. Don't be afraid to go out of your comfort zone to get that perfect shot! Some beautiful shots come to you when your not looking for them like seeing one out of the corner of your eye while on a nature walk and thinking that would be a great shot!
