Osprey on the North Fork of the Payette

Kayaking on the North Fork my cousin and I came around the corner and this juvenile Osprey was taking a bath and drinking water out of the North Fork of the Payette. I was surprised that he wasn't skittish as he stayed in the water doing his thing while my cousin got close with the kayak and she took a photo with her iPhone which gave me time to get my zoom lens on my camera. I was able to take several photos in flight and after he landed. I love Osprey!! They are amazing to watch when they are fishing and in flight as they aerodynamically turn the fish and fly away after struggling out of the water with the weight.
