Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken in the neighbourhood of Lelystad in January some years ago.

Time

It was at teh end of the morning on a sunny winterday with -19 degrees but no wind. Actually is was very nice weather for that temperature

Lighting

I wanted the sun in my back so it would not influence the beauty of the snow and ice in the trees

Equipment

Sony A100 with a minolta 18 - 70 mm zoomlens

Inspiration

The beauty of the structure of ice and snow in a very big and a little bit sad looking tree

Editing

no. Post-processing was not necessary on this picture

In my camera bag

These days I always have use my Sony a68 and a300. So I do not have to switch lenses in whatever the moment is. I use a Tokina 18-70 mm and a Tamron 70-200 mm

Feedback

Beware off the light and the risk over over exposing when the sun shines in a snowy landscape
