This photo was taken during the evening of the event. I was walking around shooting different people and came across this elegant, graceful , quite but timeless figure and I knew I just had to capture her in her moment. she is an older women but her silence and elegance made just a statement among the excitement of that evening. to be honest I didn't use any special lighting. the lighting from the tables and my flash was all I needed. I think it really turned out well.Equipment
I believe I use my Nikon d700 and 50mm lensInspiration
The event that I attend (diner de blanc) was my first time. It was so exciting and mesmerizing with all the glitter and fan fair...She was setting alone at a table and time just seem to stop me to capture that moment with her setting there having a glass of wine.Editing

I would say just got with you gut and eye. I lot of times I take pictures because I see a story or I see something that just overwhelms me and feel I need to capture that moment. I would just say go with your gut. the picture will tell the story.
