This plant goes by several names, including Indian Pipe, Ghost Flower, and Corpse Flower. At first I thought it was some kind of fungus, but a master naturalist friend informed me it was a plant. And a parasitic one at that, for it lacks chlorophyll. It brings haunting mystique to the Enchanted Forest floor.
