Western Osprey also called sea hawk, river hawk, and fish hawk — is a diurnal, fish-eating bird of prey. Osprey tolerates a wide variety of habitats and is found on all continents except Antarctica. Osprey live for as much as 30 years. Females lay 2 to 4 eggs each year, hatch around 40 days and fledge within 8 to 10 weeks. They have few predators.
