Never again have I ever seen a fire light up in the sky like sunset at Grand Canyon National Park.
As you stand on the edge, the strong gusts of winds along with the river rapids in the far, far distance (only visible through the camera eyepiece) will quickly remind you of how powerful the sheer forces of nature are. When looking down into the abyss, it will remind you of how vulnerable and frail you are – a mere dust mote amongst red giants.
I remember staring in awe and bewilderment at how the tiny filament of the Colorado River sculpted and snaked through the narrow, steep, mighty gorges. Nature simply works in magical ways and never ever seizes to amaze me.
Never does one feel so unsignificantly small than when standing before the vast immensity of Grand Canyon. Never a view so majestuous, so humbling. So grand.
