A crafty female Cuckoo lays a egg in a Reed Warbler nest then heads back to Africa. Then after hatching the baby Cuckoo will get rid of the other eggs. So now the the Reed Warbler parents think that is its only chick that has survived so they will do everything to help it out. As you can see in the image the Juvenile Cuckoo is huge up to the much smaller Reed Warbler. The male and female Reed Warbler will bring a constant supply of insects to the never ending calling-hungry Juvenile Cuckoo!
