This is an image of a young hunter in the beginning of deer season. The hunter is taking a break from stalking a deer with a bow-and-arrow. We sat and spoke in hushed whispers about life and death during this hunt. The area he is hunting is over-populated with deer and close to human population centers. That is why the area can only be hunted with a bow. He was awarded the opportunity to help control the deer population, so that the deer would not be killed and discarded.
