Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is one of the first experiments at night. Previously, I did not take such photos, so I was very happy when I got this result.

Time

I took this picture in the middle of August 2018. In our city at that time it was already cool, and there was a possibility of condensation on the lenses of the lens, but, fortunately, everything worked out.

Lighting

I photographed within the city, so the photo shows a slight glow. f / 3.5 Exposure 30 seconds ISO 800

Equipment

Camera - Samsung GX-20 (my first SLR camera) Lens- kit 18-55 Tripod Remote timer Thermos with delicious tea and music))

Inspiration

I really like to look at photos with stars, and traces that they leave with a long exposure. Therefore, I really wanted to learn how to make photos with such an effect. As I wrote, this is one of the first photos in this style, and I really want to continue working in this direction.

Editing

Of course, this is not the original photo. I processed the photos in photoshop and lightroom, gradually bringing in the form as in the photo. In general, I consider one of the most convenient and intuitively simple tools when processing photos.

Feedback

Of course, you need to go further from the city (light). But a lot depends on the equipment, as you can see, you can take pictures and without leaving very far. Look for interesting objects during the day, explore the area, then return at night and start shooting. Be sure, in the afternoon, check and collect all the equipment, charge all the batteries, view flash drives. It will be a shame when you arrive at the place, you find that you have forgotten something, and therefore you cannot shoot.
