I was randomly in Rockaway Queens having taken a ferry all around NYC that day. Rockaway is a place where my dad used to go as a boy, I met my wife and my best friends father lived. The day I took this photo, my best friends dad was just blocks away. He was 88 and in great health,...walking home from the grocery store. He was hit by a truck making an illegal u-turn and killed. I took the photo of a ferry heading home around same time...feel like it was him.
