Great shot. Back in the early 60's I drove a Divco truck just like that on my delivery route. It was set up so that you could drive it sitting or while standing. It brings back the days of door to door deliveries. When mom's started to drive more the milk man and the bakery driver faded away.

this is a real flash from the past. certainly don't see these old milk trucks much anymore. reminds me of growing up in my hometown of Sault Ste. Marie, when we got left glass milk bottles with cream at the top in a little milk cupboard by our back door.

Great shot of a piece of history. Our milk was delivered in a truck like this and when I was about 3 years old I had a large, sturdy white toy milk truck just like this that I could sit on and motor myself around the house on our hardwood floors. As Paul39 said, I can remember the drivers could sit or stand while driving. For me, this is an exceptional find and photo. Thanks!
