After not seeing any last year, I spotted this today. It's a male Tri-Winged insects( strepsipteran ) copulating with its mate who is inside the abdomen of the Lasioglossum (Dialictus) bee. The Bee is maybe 4mm long. The male Tri Winged insect only lives for about 5 hours. It has no mouthparts and it's only duty is to mate with the female...
