Behind The Lens

Location

I took the photo at the Cleveland Museum of Art during Yayaoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrors exhibition.

Time

It was in the late afternoon.

Lighting

The lighting was inside a big pink dot with mirrors on the inside.

Equipment

I used a Rioch Theta S - a 360 degree camera to capture the image.

Inspiration

The exhibit was amazing. She is a genius.

Editing

I used a mirror ball effect on the 360 shot to accomplish the final image. Otherwise just a slight cropping of the image.

In my camera bag

Normally a Nikon camera body and two lenses. The 360 camera. Nothing elaborate.

Feedback

It is hard to describe. You were only allowed 20 to 30 seconds in each display so it was quick thinking and know your camera! With the mirrors it was a bit difficult because you were not allowed to kneel down due to perception and they were afraid you would lose balance. It was crazy cool.
