I created this zoology photo at the Lowry Park Zoo near Tampa, Florida during a day trip there in early August of 2018. I believe that this was the dominant male Bornean Orangutan of the "family" and that he may have been feeling a little "hen pecked" when he grabbed up this rag and headed to the wall, well away from the females and juveniles. Orangutans are a beautiful and intelligent animals that are not surviving well in the wild due to unlawful hunting and habitat loss.
