While I was outside for a photo shoot for an assignment for school I found this little ghost crab. Usually, they run as soon as they see me or hear my shutter click. This crab made me wonder if it was even alive because it was so still the entire time. I was laying on the sand in front of it with my macro lens getting really close so I could get all of the really fine details in the hairs on the legs and the texture of the shell. I got up to leave it was still there but when I went back it was gone. I couldn't even imagine if this crab had come running at my face while I was laying in front of it with my camera.

Living on the beach I'm starting to find the perks in the little creatures I am spotting making the move much more fun.
