I was joining an East Bay Regional Park District raptor walk on the Marsh Creek trail in Oakley, California. I knew the Blue Grosbeak had been seen on this trail before so I decided to arrive there extra early early in the morning and there it was enjoying the sun and posing for me. It flew away after I took its picture.
