Not always you have the honor of seeing McKinley in all its glory - a capricious mountain, often hiding under a cloud cloak, so this time the success was only half. Mount McKinley, also known as Denali, which is its current name, is the highest mountain of North America (6,190m above sea level) and the third highest isolated peak in the world. Its Koyukon Athabascan name means "the high one” or “the great one.”
