I found this Powerful Owl (Ninox strenua) on a public path in suburban Victoria, just outside Melbourne, Australia. As I was photographing it a group of Korean tourists came along and were asking what it was, one asked, "Is it a possum?" Another responded, "I think an Eagle or Hawk." I explained it was an Owl and they politely nodded and moved on. As I turned around to take more photos the bird gave this wink. Coincidence of course but timing is everything, as they say!
