Rare and unusual sighting of a male Calliope Hummingbird in my west side Albuquerque garden this year. While it's not unusual to see these hummies on the east side of town and in the mountains and even occasionally in the Rio Grande Valley, it's very unusual to see them so far west.

A bit "noisy," but when shooting a subject in the shade with fast shutter speed (ISO should have been much higher!), that's what happens. Very much appreciate your feedback, dear Gail.
