First time seeing a wool carder bee, but they have been in California for awhile. At first I thought this was a hornet (or specifically a type of yellow jacket), but with a little identification help, I found out it's another bee. I was excited to see her.

Blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, oh my!

Actually, just a milk snail shell, but bizarrely, a bunch had dried up on these dead branches - you could pluck them off like fruit.

I love flowers and plants, in general, but for me, it doesn't get any more beautiful than echeveria blossoms.

Nothing less, nothing more.
