Location
I took this picture at one of our local lakes, it’s our biggest man made lake and the bridge is a mile long.Time
This photo was taken in the middle of the day, when the sun was at its highest pointLighting
The lighting was harsh, but being under the bridge I believe it worked out pretty well for my photograph.Equipment
This was taken with a canon rebel T6 with an 18-55mm lens and was hand held.Inspiration
The way the pillars give off an illusion, almost as that of a time warp was my inspiration for taking this photo. I also love taking photographs of water, especially moving water.Editing
I did a little tweaking on photoshop, but nothing to major. Just adjusted some highlights and shadows. In my camera bag
I have a canon 80D at the moment with an 18-55mm, a 50mm, And 70-300mm Lens. I also have an external flash, various filters.Feedback
To me photography is all about timing, right place, right time of day. However no matter the conditions just try to adjust to the situation and obstacles and take the picture. To capture a similar picture to this, the bridge will have to be a longer bridge, so it will have numerous pillars. Then you have to get it as centered as possible. It would have been easier to center on a tripod (which I did not have mine at the time). Other then that, just be inspired, that’s when you’ll take your best photographs.
