Behind The Lens

Location

This photo is taken at Farm House, Lembang, West Java. This was a common holiday portrait photo of my girlfriend.

Time

That was evening around 6 p.m when the site is about to close.

Lighting

The lighting is only using natural light in the photo location. What makes the photo look great are the lightbulbs behind the girl which is my main source of lighting.

Equipment

A canon 550D and 50mm f1.8 lens. Nothing else.

Inspiration

The smile of my pretty girlfriend.

Editing

Yes. I do some color grading at Adobe Photoshop.

In my camera bag

For now, I have my Canon 6D with Canon 24-105 f4 lens as my primary gear. I have a couple of other lenses, Canon 50mm f1.8 and Mitakon 135 f2.8. Usually, I will have a spare battery and a few memory cards. Lens cleaning kit.
