Snow-white peaks, rough stones, dark-green spruce, turquoise and emerald hues of icy water, severe primeval beauty, silence and freedom - it is all here, in Ile Alatau mountains, the northern part of Tien Shan mountains.
I'm sitting in a hollow between high moss-grown stones and waiting for a dawn.
The azure lake is calmly sleeping under ice. Slender spruce as guards stand stockstill on the cliffs and slopes. Distant wind is lazily wandering on sleepy peaks and hardly pushing away capricious clouds. Overcast and clumsy they at last separate the mountains and stream somewhere to an infinite distance. Let it be light!
