Rascally Rabbit. It's What For Breakfast.
This Red Tail Hawk flew across the path I was on, not more than 3 yards-meters in front of me.
The Red Tail Hawk was struggling to carry this rabbit. The rabbit was so heavy that the hawk could not glide, and was moving up-and-down in its forward flight as it flapped its wings.
The hawk landed perhaps 6 yards-meters from me and proceeded to eat.
Fortunately, I had my 100-400 mm lens mounted on the camera and I was prepared to get a few good shots of the breakfast menu.
