Bahay_Kubo

This photo was taken during my summer vacation in Bataan, Philippines. Bahay-kubo were the native houses of the indigenous people of the Philippines before the Spaniards arrived. These structures were temporary, made from plant materials like bamboo, nipa and anahaw. Living in bahay-kubo, surrounded by water is really a great idea for vacation. The sweet smell of breeze, calm sound of waves and taste of salty water will help you refresh your inmost soul.
