The first time I saw these falls was when I was about to cross over into Washington for the first time. I had no idea I’d end up staying in the PNW long enough to see them again after a year and a half. .
The fences and signs blocking the trail up to the bridge and upper falls view was a reminder of the harm humans can cause to the environment. .
