This box turtle was a regular visitor to our backyard. We have woods behind our house, so he would come up and visit and eat. This particular day, he was close to our back porch steps and I grabbed my macro lens, put it on the Nikon, and got on his level. It was early morning, so he had morning dew on his shell, making him shiny.
