Washington Square Arch at the Washington Square Park, New York.
This park has so much variety in terms of people and activities. There is one enclosed corner which is meant for only pet dogs. Right in front of this arch they play old classic movies on a projector. When I visited they were playing an old black and white French movie. People spread their picnic mats and bedspreads and sat enjoying the movie. There were many artists selling their work. Near the fountain a lot of people were trying the hula hoop and dancing around. I felt very happy seeing all this. One can sit there for hours long, just observing people and you won't even realize how quickly time passes by.
