Lake Tali Karng is a 50mm deep lake in the Alpine National Park in Victoria. A popular summer hike, the lake rarely sees hikers or the sun when we visited in the middle of winter. We found not only deserted camp grounds but amazing colors and textures caused by the ice on the bank of the lake. Not for the feint harted at any time of the year, the hike in and out is 34Km in length and crosses the Wellington River a total of 28 times on the round trip. You can see the video of the hike at https:--www.youtube.com-watch?v=TByuq2y2INA
