Meifong had a couple days off from work and said, "Let's drive now to see the red leaves in Vermont!" So we immediately drove through New York, crossed Lake Champlain, and there they were - Fall leaves. I photographed her moments of absorption at many car stops, including by this reflective lake-side. She returned to work the following evening. By David Silverglade
