I was sitting on the porch of the house I was watching in the mountains of Colorado. I was enjoying watching all the hummingbirds flying around, when I heard a sudden thud! I saw a hummingbird smash right into the window and rushed over to prevent the dogs from getting to it. I noticed it was still alive, but very dazed. I had my wife bring my camera, and while I kept the dogs away I took a few shots of the little guy. After about 10 minutes he was much more alert then just finally flew off.
