I find old farm implement bits everywhere. This was my way of reusing one and turning it into something useful again.

It's rare that we see any snow here. A couple of weeks ago we actually saw about a foot of snow.

Behind The Lens

Location

I live in an area of Texas known as the Piney Woods region. This was taken along the long dirt road that I live on.

Time

This picture was taken early in the morning before the fog lifted for the day. It was cloudy out, so all of the normal sunrise colors were missing.

Lighting

I didn't do anything special for lighting. Mother nature did it all for me.

Equipment

I just used my Motorola phone camera for this picture.

Inspiration

I am lucky to live in an area that has some beautiful scenery and wildlife. I just look around to find the beauty in the moments around me.

Editing

I didn't do any processing for this. I literally stopped on the road and took the picture.

In my camera bag

I always have my phone on me ( Motorola E) to take pictures with. I was recently given a Canon though, so hopefully I'll learn more about using it and can start carrying that with me too.

Feedback

Always have a camera on hand and be ready for the moments when a moment presents itself. I'm still getting better at this myself, so have plenty of shots that either get missed or don't come out well. You just have to keep trying.
