I took this photo at my grandpas farm on July 4th,2018 near Parkston, South Dakota.Time
This photo was taken around 8:30pm. There were thunderstorms all day long & we didn't think we would get to go out and shoot fireworks that night but it cleared up just in time & I was able to capture this sunset after the storms.Lighting
I used the natural light coming from the setting sun.Equipment
I used a Canon EOS Rebel T5I Camera & my kit lens that came with my camera.Inspiration
I was getting ready to take photos of the fireworks but then I noticed how beautiful the sky looked & I couldn't resist not taking the shot. I shot it has an HDR. I'm so glad I took this photo because almost over a year later, a tornado came through in the early morning & destroyed those silos that you seen in the photo, so this photo has a lot of meaning to my family & I!Editing
Yes, like said before I shot it as an HDR but I couldn't help but bring out more of the texture, details, & color. Ive had alot people tell this photo reminds them of a painting in certain ways.In my camera bag
Camera, 50mm,24-105mm lens, speedlight, & much more.Feedback
storm clouds & sunset photos are fun to take by themselves but when they happen at the same time its beautiful so take the shot, because you will get an amazing photo!
