Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at the Skomer Island in Wales .

Time

I get on last boat to Skomer Island befor 12:00 p.m. Photo has been captured 24 May 2016 about 13:00 p.m.

Lighting

It was a beautiful sunny and hot day, time of the day was not perfect for shooting but I didnt have a chance get later on.

Equipment

This was shot on Nikon D750 , Nikon 70-200mm F/2.8

Inspiration

I was waiting so long to capture puffins. I was in Iceland one year earlier but unfortunately I could not to capture them. So, my friend Roland told me about little Skomer Island in UK (where I live at the moment). I was so excited during my trip there .

Editing

I didnt do to much postprocessing , because a photo was quite clear and sharp. Just a little touch of exposure brush

In my camera bag

Of course my beloved Nikon D750, Nikon 70-200mm F2.8 , Nikon N 35mm F/1.4 , Nikon 50mm F/ 1.8 , polarising filters, ND filters , spare battery pack, chargers, extension tube.

Feedback

I think the best option is to book a private visit to Skomer Island during golden hours. I am sure photos will be stunning during this unique time .
