These are Oregon Sunstones found near Plush Oregon. I am hoping to make a trip gain soon. Even in the summer expect cold nights even freezing occasionally. Best time of the year is up to each individual. Myself I prefer late summer or early fall. I went once in October, beautiful days but bone cold at night. Had to boil ice to make coffee.
