A cottage along a country lane in the village of Sulham, Berkshire. The village lies at the foot of a steep and wooded hill just to the south of Pangbourne. Several of the cottages in Sulham are in this rather whimsical 'ornamental cottage' style, having been built in the mid 1800s by the local landowners, the Wilder family, who lived in nearby Sulham House.
