Behind The Lens

Location

Outside of Lincoln, Nebraska

Time

It was taken around 5 Pm

Lighting

It’s very powerful, dangerous and beautiful all at the same time. Make sure you are being cautious of where you are located.

Equipment

Tripod , canon 6D, Tokina 16-28mm lens.

Inspiration

There was a nice storm coming through the Great Plains the day I captured the shot so I figured it was a good time to get out there and snap away.

Editing

Yes I did, the image is a compost of 2 images lightning and landscape.

In my camera bag

Tripod, my canon 6D, Extra batteries, 28-135 mm lens, Tokina 16-28 lens, 100-400mm lens

Feedback

Use a tripod, learn how to do long exposure photography, find a location that best suits your composite. Learn photoshop composite basics, play with it and have fun get creative. Don’t be scared to try black and white with your images sometimes they look better without color.
