Now, this is why I went for the trek. Although I never expected to see something as beautiful as this in the beginning, but I knew that I would be very close to the nature.

For those who have never been to the trek to the Pindari Glacier, I need to explain this photo to you guys.

The farthest peak that you see here, covered partially by the clouds (almost the centre of the photo) is the Pindari Glacier. This is the view that you'll see once you start trekking upwards from Khati.
To reach there, you need to cross 4 mountains, Pindari Glacier lies on the 5th mountain.

That was our destination. Imagine waking up early morning to start your trek, get late by over 3 hours due to the rain, then deciding to cut short the trek for the day and then seeing THIS once you start your trek. Your destination! With the widespread mountains and valleys in between. The horses, grazing the field, the sound of the mountain river flowing through the valley and the clouds doing their thing, as if flowing down the mountain like water. This gave us the much needed boost to trek there.

Location: Khati, Uttarakhand, India
