_Approximately 90 km from Pune under Satara District, Wai is located on Krishna River is well known for its temples. Having more than 100 Temples, it’s also known as “Dakshin Kashi” (City of Temples). All the Temples have been built with Hemadpanthi style of architecture where big slabs of Black Stone and Lime has been used without any mortar.
