Take at Bosque Del Apache National Wildlife Refuge in Santa Fe, NM. We were going to the restroom and this great Diamond Back Rattle Snake was right between us and restrooms. He was sunning himself until we realized he wasn't a stick in the road. So glad we weren't in a hurry and could take a few moments to watch him and wait until he wanted to slither away, but he did get in the strike position, I think trying to find out what we were doing in the car. We never got close to him. This was taken with a Tamron 150-600mm lens on a Canon T6i.
