This hawk made it so hard for me to capture a good image prior to this shot, I would see it almost every morning on my way to work, but every day I would just miss getting a good one off. This one I am happy with. I took this shot using a canon 1D mark II and a 500mm f4.5 L lens with a canon 1.4x attached. ISO 200, f6.3, 1-3200 sec.
