Shot amongst wildflowers at Lepe Country Park in the New Forest England.
The image is a single macro capture of a living fly and I was amazed that it didn't fly away. This tiny mass of colour and complexity did keep turning round though, so for a while it was; head, bum, head, bum, head, bum and head. It did settle eventually. Through the camera it looked like it had damaged a wing and was "lying low" to do repairs.
