Location
This photo was taken from my front yard in Azle This was the leading edge of some prettt severe thunderstorms that were moving into the DFW area.Time
This was mid afternoon when the clouds began building from a cold front that was moving through. I was out taking readings for the NASA cutizen scientists program and saw these clouds building up.Lighting
There was no lightening in the area for several hours.Equipment
This photo was actually taken on my IPhone 8.Inspiration
I very much love taking photos of cloud formations. I love how clouds never look the same but always look amazing.Editing
This is the photo as it was taken. I haven’t actually learned how to do any editing or processing on photos. All of my photos are exactly the same as when I pressed the button to take the picture. In my camera bag
I have a Nikon D40 that my husband and kids purchased for me several years ago for Mother’s Day.Feedback
Always keep an eye to the sky. Since most places have clouds at some point during the day, it is fairly easy to find amazing cloud pictures to take. Pay attention to your weatherman (even though most aren’t correct on predictions, the cloud coverage is typically there at least lol), because that is the very best way to know when storm clouds will roll in, even if you do not get the storm. The more sever the prediction, the better the cloud formations will be. Try to be outside to catch the leading formation as it typically has the best opportunity for amazing photos.
