I took this picture while a long resting in the southern part of island of La Palma. It wasn´t simple to shot lizards because if you took a small movement, they rapidly hid under the stones. Next to it, as you notice, they have quite good camuflage against grey and brown stones. But it´s no accident that a lizard is a symbol of the island, because you can see them practically everywhere.
