I took this while on a family vacation in Melbourne. I'm sitting down and observing the people walking around and this sign strike me so I thought of this composition with some movement involved.Time

It was indoor lighting but I find that its sufficiently lit for a good exposure.Equipment

Well. Usually when I'm looking for subjects, I think of how I wanna capture the mood and feel. I'm not too worried about the technical parts because capture the moment is more important to me. Hence, I usually stick to Aperture or Shutter priority just so that I get the technicalities out of the way and just concentrate on getting the right picture I wanted. Watch for movement, get the picture in your mind and then proceed to take the picture. Basically that's my workflow when I'm shooting. Hope it helps.
