This bull elk brings his large herd to this spot in North Idaho every winter. I was trying to sneak up closer as he was walking away when he turned and walked right to me. He let me take a few shots, then turned and casually walked away.

Driving down the road and this little lady rested comfortably beneath a tree.

This huge fallen log has been there so long it's become part of the ground. The moss was so brilliant a green it was hard to look away.

The trickling streams gush with the spring thaw.

These trees seemed to go on forever in North Idaho.

Nature always shows us how much beauty can come from something as simple as an old stump.

This awesome old dairy barn sits just north of Wallace, Idaho.
