Location
I was stationed in the Coast Guard in Sitka Alaska. I was walking down to one of our utility boats when I saw this eagle sitting there. I couldn't resist but stop and take a few shots before it flew away.Time
It was early afternoon.Lighting
It was a normal southeast alaska day. Clouds with some sun shining through.Equipment
I used my Canon EOS Rebel T2i with an EFS 75-300mm zoom lenses.Inspiration
They are gorgeous and the lighting that day just made the colors pop out more than normal.Editing
I just lightened it up a touch.In my camera bag

Just have to be in the right place at the right time and find the angle with the best lighting.
