Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo at my local zoo. I like to spend time with the jellyfish in the aquarium, but as I was taking the photo, my family left me to go look at the other fish.

Time

It was late morning when I took the picture, almost lunch time. All the animals were starting to be energetic and more livable during this time.

Lighting

The whole lighting in the aquarium is in the dark, so getting lighting was a little hard. There were some lights in the tank itself where it made the water look more blue and jellyfish glow.

Equipment

I use my phone (iPhone 6S), because I don’t own an actual camera to take better looking shots. This one just really turned out nice when I took it.

Inspiration

Jellyfish are one of my favorite animals and the way they move amazes me. I just wish they didn’t sting people so I could have one as a pet.

Editing

Not really. All I had to make sure was the jellyfish in the frame and the lighting shining just right on the animal.

In my camera bag

Since I only use my phone, it is just my phone camera and an extra charger in case something happens.

Feedback

The more active an animal is, the better and cooler the photo will be. Also to take as many photos as you need, because the jellyfish in my picture kept moving and I kept having to take a lot in order to get a clear shot.
